Dennis Schrag Executive Director
Dennis comes to The Children's Course after spending two years at Nike as an account manager working primarily in the golf division. He earned his MBA from the University of Oregon in 2004. Before Graduate school, Dennis spent nearly a decade as a sports anchor/reporter for local stations in Illinois, Mississippi. and Oregon. He graduated with a Communication Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1992.
Dennis is married with two daughters. He has loved golf since learning to play with his grandfather as a teenager. |

Phil Bostwick, Golf Course Manager
PGA Professional for 20 years. Phil is from Milwaukie, Oregon. He was an Evans Scholar from Waverley Country Club, in Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a business finance degree in 1974. He is married with four children.
Phil was the golf professional at Fairway Village and the general manager of McNary Golf Club before joining The Children’s Course staff in 1997.

Cathy Porter, Outreach Director, Certified The First Tee Coach
Cathy is a 1985 graduate of The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She has also taken graduate classes from Michigan State University and Portland State University.
Cathy has an extensive background in Management. Working for a leading Fortune 500 company for 18 years, Cathy was employed as a manager in Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Engineering and Quality Management. She has been employed with The Children’s Course since 2002.
Cathy has a love for children and for the game of golf!

Carol Erwin, LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Director, Certified The First Tee Coach
Carol was raised in Hawaii and graduated from Northern Arizona University. She was an Elementary School Teacher for over 30 years. She has been the Director of the LPGA/USGA program for 13 years and has worked in outreach golf programs for 24 years.
In addition, Carol is head instructor for our Discovery Golf classes and is also a First Tee instructor

Amy Bostwick Assistant Ourtreach Director and Volunteer Coordinator
Amy Bostwick, graduated from Tigard High School where she played on the High School Golf team. She studied Early Childhood Education at The University of Oregon. In 2000, she began working part time at The Children's Course teaching youth in our programs and performing various other administrative duties. During that time she earned a degree from Phagans Beauty School. In July of 2008, she was hired full time as the Assistant Outreach Director and Volunteer Coordinator. |
